Vintage Pair of Gilt Bronze Candelabras, Louis XIV

An astonishing pair of candelabras in Louis XIV style, crafted in old gold gilded bronze. Each features 6 candleholder arms. A central candlestick holds an ornate stopper, that can be removed to add one of the candles.
It’s extremely rare to find two of these together.

With detailed masks and scrolls, grape clusters looping vines and standing on six feet. 

The bases feature beautifully crafted Medici vases clearly showing its reflection on the Renaissance style.

They are of either French or Italian make and likely date back to the early 19th century.

They each measure 68cm height x approx 27cm at widest point.
