Antique Indian Wooden Horse Standing

An absolutely beautiful folk art piece - perfect for adding a rustic touch to your home decor.

A handcrafted Marwari horse figurine, made in India. The horse is carved from solid wood and has is finished with embossed copper and brass detailing and handpainted eyes. The saddle and armour are crafted in the traditional style of Marwari horse, recognisable by their inward-curving ears.

The chain stirrups have been broken/ altered at some point in it’s history but I think this just adds to its character!

A charming piece of art.
